Local Service Opportunities
"Back to School" Backpack Drive - Yes, we know, school just let out for the summer, but here at Edge/SNC, we know that in just a few weeks there will be a great need for backpacks! We would like to meet that need for some of the children in our community. As you know, we have a tremendous amount of educators in our Church family. Wouldn't it be awesome to provide them with a resource to give to those in need? Our goal for our first year is 45 backpacks. We will begin collecting them June 28th through August 2nd. Please add the following supplies to your backpacks: a box of pencils, a spiral notebook; a small box of crayons; 1 three-ring binder; a ruler; and an eraser. God bless you, you are all amazing!
Jerusalem Marketplace - August 4th - 7th. This year's version of VBS is looking for volunteers. If you enjoy acting, singing, outdoor activities and working with children, click here to see the available opportunities!
SNC Committee Forming - To begin planning SNC gatherings at local parks and/or amphitheaters. We will need committee members to help organize the following: promotion, food, sound set-up/tear-down, etc. Email Pastor Joe if you're interested!
Hospitality: (Rotational Basis) Newcomer's Dinner
Greeters/Ushers: We need more greeters to be a part of our SNC Team at the S.N.C. 6:00 pm Saturday Night Service (Rotational Basis). If you are interested, contact the office at 399-3303 ext. 13.
Cafe: Hosting the Cafe before, during and after the Saturday Night Service (Once a month)
Security: Volunteers needed to walk our premises, keeping people and cars safe.
Prayer Team/Prayer Support: Praying for S.N.C. Services and those leading (at 5:00 pm on Saturday Nights before each service), as well as praying with those who seek prayer during/after the service.
